Full Stack Intern

As a Full Stack Developer Intern at Turbostart Technology Development Centre (T2C), you will have the unique opportunity to work on real-world software solutions across diverse industries such as EdTech, FinTech, and Media. You will collaborate with startup founders, product managers, designers, and engineers to build scalable, user-friendly applications. This internship is designed for aspiring developers who are passionate about solving problems through technology and are eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, the internship duration is 3 months with the potential for extension or a full-time opportunity. We are seeking recent graduates with hands-on project or internship experience in web development. Your responsibilities will include contributing to building responsive and scalable front-end applications using technologies like React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. You will also assist in developing backend services using Node.js (Express) or Python (Flask/FastAPI) and work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase/Firestore for data storage and management. Additionally, you will learn how to integrate REST APIs, use LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini), and experiment with AI-driven features. Deployment and testing of applications on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups to understand best practices in agile product development, are also part of your role. You will also gain exposure to system design components like queues, caching, and CI/CD pipelines. Our ideal candidate has completed academic coursework or hands-on projects using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Python. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js, understanding of component-based architecture, basic knowledge of backend development using Node.js (Express) or Python (Flask/FastAPI), and experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase during projects or internships are required. You should be eager to explore cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD tools, with a strong willingness to learn. Curiosity about AI and LLM APIs (like OpenAI, Gemini) and excitement to experiment with new technology, along with strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a growth-oriented mindset, are essential.
