The Chapter Lead, Full Stack Engineering Java Spring role at WRB Tech is a hands-on developer position focusing on both back-end and front-end development. Along with technical responsibilities, you will also be accountable for people management and capability development within the Chapter. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the execution of functional standards and best practices - Providing technical assistance to Chapter members - Ensuring the quality of the code repository - Acting as a conduit for wider domain strategy - Prioritizing capacity for technical debt - Contributing hands-on to the Engineering squad - Balancing skills and capabilities across teams - Working towards improving automation, simplification, and innovative technology trends - Adopting and embedding Change Delivery Standards - Ensuring clear role descriptions and expectations - Following the chapter operating model To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in software development. Specific technical competencies required include proficiency in Java (Spring), RESTful APIs, Relational Databases, JavaScript, ReactJS/Angular/Vue, HTML5/CSS/DOM, Network Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals, and CI/CD. Knowledge of NoSQL Databases and Native mobile development would be advantageous.
