As a Full stack Developer with Data marketplace experience at EY, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-grade data marketplaces. Your strong programming skills, experience with APIs, and deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Snowflake will be instrumental in shaping the future of data sharing and consumption. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop data marketplace solutions to enable secure data sharing and consumption. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs for data access, integration, and governance. - Develop backend components and data pipelines using Java and Python. - Integrate marketplace platforms with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and data warehousing tools like Snowflake. - Design and implement database schemas and manage data storage solutions (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). - Implement data cataloguing, metadata management, and user access controls. - Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and maintainability of the platform. **Required Qualifications:** - 8-11 years of experience in software development, preferably in data-intensive environments. - Proficient in Java and Python. - Strong experience in building and integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL). - Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure or AWS). - Working knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with data catalog tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra) or marketplace platforms. - Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
