The main function of Robotics Engineer is to design, test and develop robotic cell efficiently and safe in operation. To execute robotic projects from start to installation & commissioning on site. Core Competencies:- • 2 - 4 yr of experience in Robotics & automation. •Core knowledge in robotic palletizer applications and other warehouse automation robotic applications. •Worked on Industrial articulated robots with make as ABB, Yaskawa, Fuji, KUKA, cobot, AMR, gantry robots. •Robotic application layout design. •Experience in mechanical design softwares like AutoCAD, 3D. •Robot simulation softwares of Yaskawa, KUKA, ABB, etc. •Flawless communication with customer and stakeholders •Industrial robot course certified. Having core knowledge in Siemens (Siemens S7-300, S7-1200, & S7-1500) & Rockwell automation systems.Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic, FBD,SCL & STL. Ability to read and interpret PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives. Having core knowledge in Industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fuji, ABB, Fanuc, KUKA,..). Ability to program industrial robots, installation & commissioning on site. Job Description:- ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical: •Detail study of the customer requirement •Layout designing of robotic applications in warehouse automation with unique design, optimized layout footprint, making customer life easy. •Robot programming in simulation software for layout and robot cycle time verification •Right selection of industrial robot as per application requirement and as per robot simulation results. •Preparing application notes in case of new product development and taking it ahead with suppliers and new product development department. •Finding out suppliers for outsourcing and verification of techno commercial •Preparation of technical proposal and other documents for customer communication and other stakeholders. •Conducting meetings with stakeholders to introduce the RFQ and capture important inputs, queries from them. To ask costing from the stakeholders and forward it to sales •Working collaboratively with sales and other solution design engineers •Visiting customer sites to capture customer requirements in detail and verify the given customer layout physically. •Following set system and process in solution designing with required documentation •Emphasizing on communication with customer, stakeholders, suppliers at right time. •Involve in FAT audit. •Contributing to standardization and laws creation. •Working collaboratively with service department for any add on scope requirement from customer. •Involve in customer communication at the time of DAP and commissioning so as to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction, in house and on site. •Explore Smarter, cheaper technology and solutions to bring down the cost by alternative ways. Project Management: Define/Validate system architecture of projects. •Decisions about control engineering and system technical options and the functional specifications. Specifies the technical specifications of the hardware components. •Execute complete project from start at factory to installation & commissioning at site. •Analyses the system layout and description, with regard to control engineering standards and special parts. •PLC and robot logic development •Testing the PLC and robot program according to the protocol system on simulation. Assists with acceptance testing and hands over the results of the tests to the Project Manager for final acceptance. •Involve in customer communication at the time of DAP and commissioning so as to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. •Involve in service and maintenance of robots on site. •Follow quality system - Quality plans, checklists, methods, standards (CE etc) •PLC program and automation course certified •Industrial robot course certified. COMMUNICATION : •Internal: a. Sales, project stakeholders, project manager, service. b. Communication at various level- team leaders, sub ordinates. •External: a. Customer. As an experienced SMT (Surface Mount Technology) professional with a background in maintaining and optimizing SMT lines to ensure world-class process quality. Adept at troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. You have: Bachelors engineering or Diploma with 3 plus years of experience in SMT, maintaining, troubleshooting on Fuji NXT pick-and-place machines. Expertise in SMT processes, with hands-on experience in problem-solving. Proficient in using basic quality tools to analyze and resolve process/equipment issues. Experience in managing and executing new product introductions and trials. It would be nice if you also have: Ability to analyze production data and use insights to drive continuous improvement. Familiar in leading projects and driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency Maximize the performance of SMT lines through regular preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Quickly identify and resolve issues to minimize machine downtime, ensuring high availability for production. Conduct in-depth analysis to identify process and equipment breakdowns, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Contribute to the smooth introduction of new products by supporting trials and ramp-up activities. Apply Kaizen/IOQ methodologies to streamline operations, reduce scrap, and improve overall productivity. Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet team KPIs and achieve company goals. Provide on-the-ground support to SMT lines to resolve any technical issues and improve machine uptime.
