Committed to delivering excellence through customer-centric services and operational efficiency, we are looking for a highly experienced and strategic National Head Sales and Operations (FTL) to spearhead and expand our Full Truckload (FTL) vertical. The ideal candidate, with 12-15 years of expertise in logistics, transportation, and FTL operations, will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction nationwide. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and executing national FTL sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets. You will identify new business opportunities, expand the client base, and fortify customer relationships. Additionally, collaborating with the marketing team to devise effective sales campaigns and promotional activities will be crucial for success. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing and optimizing FTL operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This involves managing fleet utilization, route planning, and load management to boost productivity while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Driving profitability through cost control, margin improvement, and operational efficiency will be key in managing the P&L effectively. Maintaining strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and partners to ensure service excellence is imperative. You will lead contract negotiations and focus on fostering long-term partnerships. As a leader, you will mentor regional sales and operations teams, fostering a performance-driven culture and encouraging collaboration between sales, operations, and customer service teams. Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies is essential. Providing insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth will require a keen eye for market insights and competitor analysis. Managing relationships with transportation vendors and supply partners to ensure consistent quality and reliability of FTL services will be part of your vendor relationship management responsibilities. The preferred candidate will possess 12-15 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and FTL operations, along with proven expertise in FTL sales, operations management, and P&L responsibility. Strong leadership, mentoring, and analytical skills are essential, as well as proficiency in data analysis, market research, and financial reporting. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client management skills are required, along with familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and CRM tools. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day with a yearly bonus offered.
