As a Systems Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence within the Data & AI team at Lexington Partners, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful business intelligence and data analytics solutions. The role calls for an individual with a proactive attitude towards growth and learning, a keen eye for detail, and robust analytical capabilities required to navigate complex scenarios effectively. Operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment reminiscent of a startup within an established enterprise, adaptability to new tools and solutions is key. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving the firm's business intelligence initiatives and facilitating data-driven decision-making processes. Responsibilities: - Develop dashboards and analytics utilizing tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and related technologies. - Collaborate closely with Finance and Technology teams to deploy BI solutions effectively. - Undertake system administration tasks for Business Intelligence platforms, including user security management and maintenance. - Take ownership of both regular and ad hoc operational reporting, focusing on enhancing continuous improvement and scalability. - Engage with various business functions to comprehend reporting requirements and provide actionable insights. - Create and sustain scalable, automated dashboards and reports to monitor progress against key operational objectives and initiatives. - Conduct data modeling activities by refining existing models or building new ones as necessary. - Support end users in generating ad hoc reports through BI tools. Ideal Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. - Strong focus on detail and analytical thinking, acting as a guardian of data quality. - Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, PowerQuery, and ETL techniques. - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Power Platform is advantageous. - Knowledge of Snowflake is considered beneficial. - Effective communicator with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Proficient in implementing row-level security on data and possessing a solid grasp of application security layer models in Power BI. - Capable of working autonomously as well as in a collaborative team environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a collaborative and ownership-driven mindset.
