As an in-office Front-End Developer Intern at Housp, you will have the exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment where you will be responsible for building high-performance, user-friendly interfaces. Your role will involve directly contributing to product development and bringing real features to life. Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining front-end applications using React.js / Next.js, translating Figma designs into clean, responsive web components, integrating APIs to ensure smooth user interaction, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing for fast load times. You will collaborate closely with tech and design teams in sprint-based execution and follow best practices to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), along with proficiency in React.js. Familiarity with Git/GitHub and basic CLI is also required. An understanding of responsive design principles, UI/UX basics, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a startup environment are essential. Additional skills that would be considered a bonus include experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, exposure to Figma, REST APIs, and front-end SEO, as well as a personal portfolio or GitHub contributions.
