Frontend React JS Developer

At Astound Digital, you will play a key role in leading a high-performance feature-driven development team focused on constructing enterprise-level e-commerce platform solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing new user-facing features utilizing React.js. - Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create robust and scalable applications. - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Maintaining and enhancing existing applications by adding new features based on business requirements. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of the applications. - Writing unit and integration tests to uphold high code quality. - Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies while contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes. Your skills and qualifications should encompass: - Expertise at an advanced level with a minimum of 5 years of experience in hand-coding in CSS and HTML (including HTML5, CSS3). - Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap, etc.) & preprocessors (LESS, Sass, etc.). - Experience in responsive web design approach. - Proficiency in JavaScript and related libraries for cross-platform development. - Knowledge of task runners (Grunt, Gulp, etc.). - Proficiency in client-side code performance optimization, debugging, and debugging tools. - Understanding of cross-browser/platform issues. - Proficiency with Adobe CS package (Photoshop/Fireworks, etc.). - Must possess independence, self-motivation, meticulousness, and methodical approach to creating solutions. - Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. - Intermediate level of spoken and written English communication skills. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have: - A personal portfolio showcasing completed projects/products. - Experience working in geographically distributed teams. - Previous involvement in developing e-commerce and mobile solutions is highly desirable. - Experience in developing with Java, PHP, or other scripting languages.
