Frontend Engineer - React.js

As a Frontend Engineer at Pixxel, you will be an integral part of the Platform team, contributing to advancing and managing Pixxels in-house analytics platform. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and beyond technical expertise, shaping products, continuous learning, and upholding best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and test UI for web applications considering design patterns, best practices, and inclusive of necessary unit and integration tests. - Translate user and business needs accurately into functional frontend code. - Build reusable code and libraries for future use. - Work closely with the Design Engineer, Engineering Team, and Product Team. - Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. - Actively learn new languages, techniques, and methodologies. - Develop innovative UI for complex problems and translate design thinking into products. - Develop highly responsive user interface components using React concepts. - Maintain front-end architecture to support user interface concepts. - Monitor and improve front-end performance. - Document application changes and development updates. - Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with, and learn new technologies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 2-4 years of industry experience in building and managing frontend for web applications. - Proven experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. - Experience with popular React libraries and tools, such as Redux, React Router, and Axios. - Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn. - Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work as part of a team in an agile development environment. **About Pixxel:** Pixxel is a space data company and spacecraft manufacturer redefining Earth observation with hyperspectral imaging.
