Frontend Developer/Engineer - Angular

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at our growing development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using Angular (v12+). Your expertise will be crucial in translating UI/UX designs into clean, performant, and accessible user interfaces. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will lead and mentor a team of frontend developers to deliver high-quality features and user experiences. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment and lead initiatives to architect responsive, scalable, and maintainable web applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, optimizing web applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability, implementing reusable components and libraries, integrating frontend with RESTful APIs and third-party services, and ensuring code quality through unit testing and end-to-end testing. Additionally, you will stay current with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and contribute to Agile development processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience, along with 6 to 8 years of professional frontend development experience. You must be an expert in Angular (v12+), RxJS, and NgRx (or similar state management), with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (including SCSS or Tailwind). A solid understanding of component-based architecture, hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and JSON, familiarity with Angular CLI, Webpack, and modern build tools, as well as experience with cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development are essential. Moreover, you should be proficient in Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD workflows, with experience in unit and integration testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are also required. Nice to have qualifications include experience with micro frontend architecture, familiarity with GraphQL, exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js or .NET, experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), experience with performance optimization and lazy loading strategies, and prior work in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira or Trello.
