Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer at our ambitious travel-tech startup, you will play a crucial role in reshaping how users plan and book travel. Your expertise in building elegant and fast UIs, coupled with a deep understanding of SEO, web performance, and user-centric design, will be instrumental in creating seamless web experiences for our users. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable front-end architecture using React.js and Next.js. You will be tasked with implementing dynamic, high-performance web pages optimized for SEO and load time, in collaboration with designers and backend developers. Creating and maintaining reusable components and libraries, ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility, and integrating third-party services will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing team to implement SEO strategies and improvements, optimize Core Web Vitals, and implement structured data for search engine visibility. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3-5 years of experience in frontend development, with expert-level knowledge of React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript (ES6+). A strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles is essential, along with hands-on experience in SEO for modern web apps. Experience with component libraries, modular CSS, Git, and version control best practices will be beneficial. A demonstrable portfolio of live projects or GitHub repos is required. Nice to have skills include experience with TailwindCSS or Styled Components, familiarity with Lighthouse audits and web performance tuning, and experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and SEO tools like SEMrush.
