Frontend Developer

As a Junior Frontend Developer at F22 Labs, a startup software studio in Chennai, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects using ReactJS, NextJS, and Typescript. Your role will involve collaborating with experienced developers, product managers, and designers to build clean, responsive, and high-performing web interfaces. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in building and maintaining web applications, translating design mockups into responsive UI using Tailwind CSS, collaborating with backend developers to consume APIs, writing clean and modular code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, debugging and troubleshooting frontend issues, and contributing to unit and integration testing. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated with new trends in frontend development and suggest improvements based on your findings. To qualify for this role, you should have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using ReactJS and NextJS, an understanding of basic web performance optimization techniques, experience working with APIs, knowledge of version control systems like Git/GitHub, basic knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility, and a willingness to learn CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions. Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and excellent communication skills are also essential traits for this position. Desirable skills that would be considered a bonus include familiarity with Typescript and Tailwind CSS, exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Cypress, basic knowledge of state management libraries, awareness of SEO principles, experience with animation libraries, and curiosity about DevOps tools.
