To lead and manage the sales operations for a specific State/Region, driving sales through bank branches, building strong relationships with banking partners, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Handle the sales team of a particular State/Region as a whole, which includes Cluster Managers and Front-Line Sales Team. Drive sales and achieve targets through the bank branches. Support the CRO (Chief Risk Officer, or could be Chief Revenue Officer/Chief Retail Officer depending on context - assuming sales focus) in his/her sales effort, including generating benefit illustrations and accompanying on client calls if required. Engage in an open and trusting relationship with the Branch Managers/officers/staff, recognizing the bank as a key customer. Engage the employees of the bank branches in regular discussions to enhance their knowledge about insurance, product offerings, and understand their issues/concerns about selling insurance (if any). Identify potential partners through preliminary meetings. Ensure that all service requirements are met, medicals facilitated, and customers are satisfied. Spearhead all lead generation initiatives from the bank, whether through walk-ins, data-mining, referrals, and other channels. Measures of Success: Achieving sales targets. Activating and penetrating branches for Insurance Sales. Arranging training programs for bank staff on products and selling skills. Increasing productivity of bank branches. Relationship Management excellence. Key Requirements: Strong team handling background. Hands-on experience in branch banking environments.
