As a Front-End UI/UX Developer at SchoolCues, a fast-growing SaaS-based EdTech company in Phoenix, AZ, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing web interfaces. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver user-centered solutions that enhance our users" experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end web applications. - Translate wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs into functional user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user interactions and ensure design feasibility. - Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback for design and development improvements. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, cross-browser, and cross-device compatibility. - Implement and maintain front-end standards, best practices, and reusable code libraries. - Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow. - Stay updated with emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience in developing responsive web interfaces. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like jQuery, React, Vue.js, Angular. - Solid understanding of UX principles and UI design patterns. - Experience with design tools such as Figma and Sketch, and familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
