Your role and responsibilities
About HashiCorp Front-end Experiences
The Front-end Experiences organization at HashiCorp exists to enable and support the engineering and design delivery of accessible, high-quality UIs through a focus on tooling, infrastructure, design systems, education, and culture. The organization is responsible for Helios, HashiCorps design system, our accessibility program, the long-term reliability and stability of our UIs, and more. The organization acts as a center of excellence to support the front-end engineers and designers across all of HashiCorp R&D.
About the role
As a member of Front-end Experiences Enablement team, you will provide support and enablement for delivering complex, cross-product UI features across HashiCorps portfolio of products. Youll work closely with engineers and designers across the company to leverage your experience and expertise in building accessible, delightful, and maintainable UIs.
What youll do (responsibilities):

Collaborate with product designers and engineers to support the delivery of new features or refactors in our UIs

Drive adoption of the Helios design system across our products.

Identify and act on opportunities to leave our product UIs better than you found them

Regularly adapt to new products and areas of focus as priorities shift and new initiatives emerge

Support effective project handoff through written communication and documentation

Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

3+ years in Software Development, specifically in JavaScript, React, HTML and CSS

3+ years experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

Experience with Helios and/or Carbon

Strong interest in customer-focused work, with experience collaborating with Design and Product Management functions to deliver impactful solutions.

Demonstrated ability to develop quality, sustainable components from wireframes

Ability to operate within a creative and proactive culture to improve component quality.

Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.

Proven ability to lead by example and contribute to a positive team culture.

Commitment to developing well-tested solutions to ensure high reliability and performance.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with diverse technology stacks and project types is preferred.

Experience with the Ember.js framework or a strong interest and ability to get up to speed with it.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly while remaining empathetic and kind

Possess an eagerness to learn through humility and reflection
