Role & responsibilities Develop responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Developing and Implementing User Interfaces: This includes building the visual elements of a website or application, including layouts, navigation, and interactive features. Translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that produces visual elements Writing Clean and Efficient Code: Frontend Developers must write code that is not only functional but also well-structured, maintainable, and adheres to coding standards. Ensuring Cross-Browser Compatibility: They need to ensure that a website or application functions correctly and looks as intended across different browsers and devices. Optimizing for Performance: This involves minimizing load times, optimizing images, and using techniques to ensure a fast and responsive user experience. Collaborating with Designers and Backend Developers: Frontend Developers need to work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into code and with backend developers to integrate with APIs and data. Debugging and Troubleshooting: They are responsible for identifying and fixing issues related to the front-end of the application which includes Debug, test, and fix issues across multiple browsers and devices. Staying Up-to-Date with Technologies: The frontend landscape is constantly evolving, so developers need to stay current with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices. Optimize applications for speed and scalability Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features and user experiences. Preferred candidate profile 4 to 5+ years of experience in front-end development. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc.). Understanding of Responsive Design Principles: This ensures that websites and applications adapt well to different screen sizes and devices. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic back-end integration. Good Communication Skills: Effective communication with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders is important for successful projects.
