Job Description

Installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots refrigeration systems in various settings, including homes, businesses, and commercial facilities. They ensure systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with regulations. Here's a more detailed breakdown of their duties:Installation: Installing new refrigeration systems and components. Following blueprints and manufacturer specifications. Mounting and connecting components like compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Maintenance and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems, including leak detection and refrigerant charging. Performing routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Replacing or repairing faulty components, such as compressors, evaporators, and controls. Maintaining records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Other Responsibilities: Providing technical support and guidance to clients. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations. Adhering to safety standards and regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants. May work on HVAC systems, ice machines, and beverage equipment.
