As a Climate Risk & Resilience Services Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Working on the development and application of technical workflows for analyzing environmental data, including downscaled climate model output, to develop climate projections for various weather phenomena such as precipitation, temperature, and snow. - Leveraging tools and analysis methods to identify and address challenges in climate datasets. - Supporting quantitative analysis of exposure, vulnerability, risks, and resilience related to long-term climate change considerations for clients like municipalities and infrastructure agencies. - Preparing documentation summarizing methodologies and results for both technical and lay audiences. - Participating in multiple projects, ensuring effective coordination with internal colleagues, external resources, agencies, and consulting team partners. - Contributing to a diverse team of experts to advance the Climate Risk & Resilience Services practice through data-driven analysis and decision-making. - Participating in quality control operations of the climate analysis sections of projects and contributing to defining best practices for consistency and scientific robustness in climate change risk assessment processes. - Contributing to research and development initiatives to build innovative practices in the field of climate change risk and resilience. - Collaborating with national business lines within WSP, focusing on advisory services related to climate science, climate risks, and adaptation planning.
