Freight Forwarding Accountant

You will be responsible for handling company accounts for both the USA and India, preparing reports, compiling and analyzing financial statements, and managing cash flow. Your role will be crucial in supporting the accounting needs of our USA headquarters while giving a head start to our operations in India. It is essential for you to have experience in the freight forwarding industry and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Additionally, you should possess the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals. Good communication and writing skills in English are necessary, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Having experience with CargoWise application would be advantageous as you contribute to the growth and success of Merkay India Logistics. Your work timings will be from 12 PM to 9 PM IST, Monday to Friday, at our office in Guindy, Chennai. The compensation offered will be as per industry standards.
