We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant (Financial Analyst) , looking for candidates from Bangalore location - This role will primarily support onshore partners by providing reporting and analytics, aimed at delivering actionable insights that drives by providing. Notice Period - upto 30 days Qualification - CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA qualifications. Additional Information Work timings 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. IST • Work from office (5 days) • IC (individual contributor) role Location - Bangalore -Whitefield Office Candidates must have experience in Freight Analysis or Supply Chain Analysis, forecasting and analysis of freight to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Knowledge of using tools such as Syntellis Axiom EPM, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and other financial reporting software. Experience in process transitions and transformations What you will do -• Candidate for conducting Freight Analysis or Supply Chain Analysis from a financial perspective: • Perform detailed forecasting and analysis of freight to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Conduct thorough reporting and analysis of freight related to Parts and components to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. Have experience with ACH and freight journals, and cost allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Handle the processing of cargo claims, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation. Perform quarterly freight accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business objectives. Analyse freight invoices to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and optimize cost management. Act as the trusted business partner and develop business acumen as on job learning process. Resolve issues independently and interact with teams within or outside of discipline addressing complex problems. Process Transition & Improvement: • Perform the tasks related to the transition of the projects in line with COE scope of work, timelines, business requirements and defined metrics/KPIs • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, define and own the documentation (instruction manuals and scorecards/trackers) Partner with multiple global stakeholders on day-to-day operations Caterpillar: Confidential Green • Identify and leverage on tools and technologies to transform processes Drive continuous improvement via simplification, standardization and automation Embed change management best practices Candidates will preferably have: Knowledge of using tools such as Syntellis Axiom EPM, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and other Financial reporting software and tools • Experience with advanced excel, power BI and powerpoint presentations Experience with the procurement process. • Ability to quickly learn reporting methodology and knowledge about products, suppliers, and consumers What you will have Proven experience in financial reporting, cost analysis, FP&A and month end processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data, trends and patterns Excellent customer service skills working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders to drive outcomes Self-starter, works well independently and in a team, with excellent communication skills • Showcased leadership skills, good judgement, and accountability in prior roles • Experience in process transitions and transformations in a virtual environment

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Freight Manager to oversee end-to-end freight operations including market vehicle placement, vendor development, and cost control. This role involves managing day-to-day logistics execution, ensuring 100% vehicle placement for both to and fro operations, analyzing freight rates, and optimizing vendor performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong operational mindset, analytical ability, and hands-on experience in fleet and vendor coordination. The role is crucial in ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-effective transportation across multiple routes. Key Responsibilities Ensure 100% vehicle placement daily for assigned routes, managing both forward and return trips. Develop and manage relationships with fleet vendors, ensuring timely availability of vehicles. Perform continuous freight rate analysis to control logistics cost and ensure competitive pricing. Plan and execute to-and-fro vehicle attachment strategies to maximize fleet utilization. Monitor and manage freight contracts, vendor SLAs, and service delivery. Identify and onboard reliable vendors across regions to support growing logistics requirements. Resolve operational issues related to vehicle non-placement, route deviations, and delays. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy with a strong understanding of modern technology platforms. Ensure timely and accurate billing, freight reconciliation, and vendor payments. Coordinate with dispatch, planning, and warehouse teams for seamless shipment execution. Prepare and analyze freight performance reports; recommend improvements for operational efficiency. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA preferred. Proven experience in freight operations, vendor handling, and vehicle management. Strong knowledge of freight rate structures, lane-wise costing, and transport market dynamics. Hands-on experience in placement planning, vendor sourcing, and capacity building. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, transport management software, and ERP tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute execution challenges. Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments. Job Description- Export Logistics Job Purpose- Execute all export logistics activities to deliver goods to end customer in timely and cost efficient manner to achieve OTIF targets. Key Accountabilities Prepare and arrange pre and post shipment export documents to facilitate further processes in execution of shipment 1.. Scrutinise the export order & letter of credit 2. Prepare precise shipping documents (Pre & Post Shipment) which leads to successful execution of shipment 3. Create and share shipping documents with various customers as per the statutory requirements 4. Arrange necessary documents related to shipment specific to countries (i.e. Batch related documents, Import Permit, DCGI, Narcotics Permission & Legalised documents) Prepare Request for Quotation for air & ocean freight for non-contractual destinations to provide relevant information to team leader for freight analysis 1. Float Request for Quotation for air & ocean shipments to various freight forwarders 2. Obtain the quotations from various freight forwarders within time frame 3. Prepare freight comparison sheet for analysis Execute all the pre shipment processing activities in order to achieve OTIF within logistics lead time 1. Check and track stock regularly to inform customer and BD and provide end-to-end visibility on stocks to all the stakeholders 2. Arrange dispatch of goods by co-ordinating with warehouse team for stock consolidation, diversion etc. 3. Co-ordinate with the internal QA and the insurance team to suggest actions and claim damage expenses from the airline on damaged goods in transit 4. Coordinate with clearing & forwarding agents by providing relevant documents, resolve in-transit queries and follow up on the status of the shipment 5. Co-ordinate with third party export inspection agencies for arranging inspection for country specific shipments 6. Arrange active / passive packages like soft box, environtainer from the procurement team for Temperature Controlled goods 7. Arrange special approvals for dangerous goods shipments from airline as per International Airlines Trade Association Dangerous Good Regulations guidelines 8. Arrange & initiate dispatching of samples, working standards, technical data sheet to customer 9. Provide freight components & requisite data for new tenders, quotation and forecast orders to BD Provide post shipment services to ensure greater customer satisfaction 1. Update the shipment status to the customer on a regular basis 2. Ensure courier of original documents to customer in advance before arrival of shipment 3. Arrange for and attend meetings with internal & external stakeholders to resolve queries / complaints Optimize space requirement and reduce number of invoices per shipment to minimise the operational cost 1. Minimise number of invoices against multiple deliveries to save on the freight and customs cost 2. Optimise maximum utilisation of loadable space in container to avoid extra cost
