The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machinery. The daily tasks involve setting up machines, monitoring operations, ensuring precision in the manufacturing process, and adhering to safety standards. The Machinist will also inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and design specifications. Additionally, the role may require routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to maximize efficiency and output. Qualifications Experience with machine operation and maintenance, including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machinery Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and specifications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to perform precise measurements using tools such as calipers and micrometers Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing setting Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Basic computer skills for data entry and CNC programming Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is beneficial
