We’re building a scalable, tech-first ecosystem that empowers both landlords and tenants through automation, transparency, and user-centric design. As we continue to grow and roll out new features on our platform, we are seeking a skilled *WordPress Backend Developer* to join our remote tech team. This role is critical to enhancing our core infrastructure, integrating new modules, and ensuring stable backend operations. --- Key Responsibilities Architecture & Development Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Lead the design of APIs, backend services, and database architectures. Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices. Database & Infrastructure Optimize relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Deploy and scale applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Vercel). Implement DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Provide technical leadership in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and project estimations. Security & Performance Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection. Conduct performance tuning and implement monitoring solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 5–10 years as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer. Front-End: Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. Back-End: Expertise in Node.js, Express, Django, or similar frameworks. Databases: Strong command of SQL and NoSQL systems. Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). Architecture: Experience designing scalable systems and microservices. Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure). Preferred Qualifications Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions). Experience in integrating third-party APIs (payment gateways, CRMs, property listings, etc.). Prior experience in real estate, SaaS, or marketplace platforms is a plus. Soft Skills Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
