Freelance Video Editor

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that engage our audience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that meets project specifications.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and objectives.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to create high-quality video content.
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using tools like Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, and video enhancement.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation as needed using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or Capture One.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance skills and techniques.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, and more.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes including video production, filming techniques, and graphic design principles.
• Experience with motion graphics creation and 2D/3D animation using tools like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Familiarity with typography principles and the ability to incorporate them into video projects effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
