Freelance Shopify Developer

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Developer to be a part of our dynamic team. As a Developer, your primary responsibility will be the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications. You should have proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver responsive web solutions that cater to user needs and enhance overall functionality. Your duties will include designing and implementing software applications using frameworks like Django and TypeScript, developing and maintaining databases with MongoDB and MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance, and working with UX/UI designers to create wireframes for responsive web design across different devices. You will also be involved in Agile/Scrum methodologies for effective project management, writing clean and maintainable code while following coding standards and best practices, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications, as well as staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills continuously. The ideal candidate for this role should have proficiency in Shopify Django, MongoDB, MySQL, SASS, TypeScript, and AWS. A strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, experience with responsive web design techniques, familiarity with Scrum or Agile project management frameworks, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated, and strong communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and solutions are also required. This is a part-time position with expected hours not exceeding 40 per week. The benefits include a flexible schedule, and the work location is in-person.
