Freelance Creative Designer

As a Freelance Creative Designer at IEM Public School, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing design assets for various school projects. Your role will involve collaborating with the school's leadership, HR, and marketing teams to meet design needs and timelines while maintaining consistency with branding guidelines. You should have proven experience as a freelance graphic/creative designer, proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent, and a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and color theory. Your creative flair, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects will be crucial in delivering high-quality design assets within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Design engaging creatives for school events, newsletters, social media, website banners, invitations, certificates, brochures, and internal communication. - Collaborate with the schools leadership, HR, and marketing teams to understand design needs and timelines. - Maintain consistency with school branding guidelines. - Edit and refine existing designs as required. - Deliver design assets in appropriate formats and within agreed timelines. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a freelance graphic/creative designer, preferably in the education sector. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools. - Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and color theory. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication skills and responsiveness. - Creative flair with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (not mandatory if portfolio is strong). - Experience working with schools, NGOs, or children-centric brands is a plus.
