We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer to design, create, and manufacture unique pieces of jewellery. Responsibilities include sketching designs, sourcing materials, creating prototypes, and overseeing production.

As a Graphic Designer with 2 to 3 years of experience, your primary purpose will be to create design solutions that have a high visual impact. You will be responsible for listening to clients, understanding their needs, and making design decisions accordingly. Your role will involve developing creative ideas and concepts, choosing appropriate media and styles to meet the client's objectives effectively. Your major responsibilities will include coordinating with clients or account managers to discuss business objectives and requirements. You will interpret the client's business needs, develop concepts to suit their purpose, and obtain approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts for approval. Additionally, you will develop design briefs by gathering information through research, think creatively to produce new ideas, and present finalized concepts to clients or account managers. You will work with a wide range of media, including photo manipulation and computer-aided design (CAD). Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and creating or modifying fonts according to brand guidelines will be part of your daily tasks. It is essential to keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs like WordPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists. Having an awareness of current trends in the visual arts, a working knowledge of the latest computer packages, and an understanding of material costs and time limits is crucial, as these factors can impact the design process significantly.
