Frappe Developer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 700000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 7-30 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frappe Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Frappe Framework , Python , and NodeJS , with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance business applications. As a Frappe Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining ERPNext or custom solutions based on the Frappe Framework to meet business needs. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Frappe Framework . Customize and extend ERPNext or Frappe-based applications to meet client or project-specific requirements. Work on the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python and JavaScript (NodeJS). Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party applications or services. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation for modules, features, and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 310 years of hands-on experience in Frappe Framework development. Strong command over Python , JavaScript , and NodeJS . Experience with web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Proficient in creating custom apps, doctypes, workflows, and REST APIs using Frappe. Deep understanding of MVC architecture and ORM tools provided by Frappe. Experience with database technologies such as MariaDB , PostgreSQL , or MySQL . Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with ERPNext or large-scale business application development. Exposure to Docker , Kubernetes , or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience in writing unit and integration tests for Frappe applications. Contributions to open-source projects, especially within the Frappe/ERPNext ecosystem.
