You will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully understand the requirements for construction and foundations. You will measure and calculate the size and quantity of materials needed and use tools like levels, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure the accuracy of your work. Checking all types of formwork for drawing measurements, and cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other materials according to specified measurements will be part of your duties. Ensuring proper alignment, level, and verticality before and after concreting is crucial. Your role will involve laying out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and properly aligned. You will also be responsible for the inspection of Foundation Bolts and all types of scaffolding. Inspecting sites and performing checks on carpentry work, including repairs and maintenance, will be within your scope. It is essential to comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide ideas for all types of formwork and offer guidance on work methods.
