As an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, specifically Frac operations, your expertise in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and chart/graph plotting relevant to hydraulic fracturing will be instrumental. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and optimized product functionality. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oil & Gas, focusing on Frac operations, drilling, and production analytics. Your responsibilities will include translating business needs into functional requirements/user stories for SaaS applications used by the Oil & Gas industry. Additionally, you will define and validate data-driven visualizations, such as time-series graphs, pressure vs. depth charts, and fracture propagation models, and work with development teams to implement accurate and user-friendly charting components. Engaging with product, engineering, and operations teams to gather precise business and technical requirements will be crucial. You will convert domain-specific knowledge into clear documentation for the development team. Identifying gaps in existing workflows and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring seamless integration of analytical models with platform functionalities. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within Oil & Gas software solutions, and a strong understanding of Frac operations, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineering principles. Experience working with SaaS-based Oil & Gas platforms and hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) are required. Soft skills such as problem-solving, analytical skills, communication, stakeholder management abilities, and the ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential. Preferred qualifications include prior experience working with Oil & Gas SaaS providers, knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics in Oil & Gas, and an understanding of industry standards such as WITSML, PPDM, and RESQML. Your skills in SAAS, Frac, and Business Analysis will be put to good use in this dynamic and challenging role.,
