FPGA Engineer
(Control Systems)

Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA designs for real-time control of multiple opto-electronic systems and high-speed signal processing.
- Translate existing high-level programs to VHDL/Verilog as needed for system-level control.
- Create and efficiently use custom IP (Intellectual Property) blocks for RTL development.
- Optimize, verify and debug RTL for high-speed applications.
- Define and conduct testing and troubleshooting using development boards.
- Document the design and development iterations of RTL following standard industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics / Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in creating and implementing FPGA designs for real-time signal processing and control systems for multiple devices.
- Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and Xilinx Vivado.
Preferred Qualities
- Good understanding of digital electronics; exposure to embedded C/C++.
- Good knowledge of control algorithms/pipelines and image/signal processing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Xilinx Vitis and Siemens QuestaSim.
- Hands-on experience in performing simulation, validation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing of FPGA-based control systems
