Job Title: Audio Signal Processing Engineer Experience: 25 Years Location: Bangalore (Remote) Job Type: Full Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Signal Processing Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in audio signal analysis, digital signal processing (DSP), and expertise in Fourier transformations. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining audio processing algorithms for real-time or offline systems, contributing to cutting-edge audio technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement audio signal processing algorithms, including filtering, noise reduction, echo cancellation, and beamforming. Apply Fourier Transform techniques (FFT, STFT, etc.) to analyze, visualize, and manipulate audio signals. Work with time-domain and frequency-domain audio features for applications such as speech enhancement, recognition, and classification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., ML, embedded, frontend) to integrate DSP modules into products. Evaluate and optimize algorithm performance in terms of latency, accuracy, and computational efficiency. Perform audio data acquisition, preprocessing, and annotation tasks as required. Maintain clear documentation of processes, algorithms, and performance benchmarks. Required Skills: Strong understanding of Audio Signal Processing concepts and algorithms. Proficient in Fourier Transformations (FFT, DFT, STFT) and spectral analysis. Hands-on experience with Python or MATLAB for signal analysis and prototyping. Experience with DSP libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Librosa, PyDub). Familiarity with digital filters (FIR, IIR), convolution, correlation, and windowing techniques. Understanding of real-time audio systems and streaming data. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning techniques applied to audio (e.g., audio classification, speech recognition). Knowledge of embedded DSP systems or frameworks like TensorFlow Lite , ONNX , or AudioKit . Familiarity with tools like Audacity , Praat , or Sonic Visualiser . Exposure to audio codecs, compression, and audio file formats (e.g., WAV, MP3, FLAC). Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Acoustics, or related field (preferred).
