Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Foundry QMS Manager to lead our quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes, auditing, and training staff to maintain a culture of quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Quality Management System Development: Develop, implement, and maintain a QMS that meets industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), ISO 14001:2015 and EMS, ISO 45001:2018 OH&S
- Quality Policy and Objectives: Establish and communicate quality policy and objectives throughout the organization.
- Process Development and Control: Develop, implement, and monitor quality processes for foundry operations, including inspection, testing, and defect control.
- Auditing and Compliance: Conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with industry standards, and address customer audit findings.
- Training and Awareness: Provide quality training and awareness programs for employees, ensuring understanding of quality policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvements, implement changes, and monitor results.
- Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback, resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including certificates, test reports, and audit documents.
- Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, ensuring compliance with foundry requirements.
- Reporting: Provide regular quality performance reports to management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical , Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a foundry setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality management principles, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), and foundry processes.
- Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
