As a Quality Control Engineer in the foundry process, your responsibilities will include overseeing and controlling quality parameters throughout the production process. This involves conducting inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations. You will be required to conduct process audits, implement robust quality controls, and address any deviations to maintain consistent quality. A key aspect of your role will be the analysis of casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, sand inclusion, and cracks. By identifying these issues, you will develop and implement corrective actions to optimize the production process and minimize defects. Additionally, collaborating with suppliers to uphold the quality of incoming materials may be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of foundry processes, materials, and casting defects. Proficiency in documenting quality procedures, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions is essential for ensuring continuous improvement in quality standards. This is a full-time position that offers benefits such as leave encashment and Provident Fund. The working schedule is during the day shift, and the preferred work location is Ludhiana, Punjab.
