Use of software like CostX, Candy, or Excel-based BOQ tools. Contract Management Familiarity with NEC,FIDIC, JCT, and bespoke contract forms used in T&D. Understanding of contractual obligations for EPC and Design & Build projects. Valuation & Payment Applications Interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts. Assessing subcontractor valuations. Cost Control & Forecasting Budget tracking and earned value management. CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) preparation and reporting. Risk & Value Management Identification of commercial and contractual risks. Proposals for value engineering opportunities. Substations Civil and MEP works, GIS/AIS equipment, and balance-of-plant cost assessment. Cabling Underground HV/LV cable routes, trenching, ducting, joint bays, reinstatement. Civils Earthworks, foundations, drainage, fencing, roads, and access tracks for T&D sites. Soft Skills & Tools Stakeholder Communication Ability to liaise with engineering, site, planning, and finance teams. Clear presentation of commercial issues. Analytical Thinking Identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities from commercial data. Software Proficiency Excel (advanced), SAP, Oracle, CATO, Primavera (P6), AutoCAD for measurement purposes. Regulatory & Safety Awareness Knowledge of health & safety requirements and CDM regulations in power projects. Awareness of local utility and DNO standards .

Preparation of detailed calculation reports. Checking of construction drawings and documents. Coordination with other engineering disciplines for inputs and technical issues Participates in Model Reviews and other project related workshops. Review of Subcontractors/ Vendor documents for technical compliance. Prepares cost estimates and quantity take offs. Support to filed engineering & Trouble shooting. Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy. Main Tasks: Design of structures and foundations. Issue of deliverables with required quality as per project schedules. Role & responsibilities Lead the structural design team across all residential projects from concept to execution. Oversee design development for RCC/ Steel structures, foundations, retaining walls, and high-rise buildings. Validate and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with relevant codes (IS codes, NBC, etc.). Coordinate with architects, MEP, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery and execution. Review and evaluate structural drawings from external consultants, ensuring accuracy and cost optimization. Implement advanced software tools like STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for design and analysis. Provide expert guidance on value engineering and structural innovations to enhance quality and reduce costs. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory requirements related to structural design. Conduct structural audits, peer reviews, and site inspections during key construction phases. Advise management, appoint, and manage, suitable structural consultant for project design development. Lead, mentor, and build the internal structural design team for capability development. In-depth coordination with corporate office structural team and get timely sign off on the proposed design & documentation. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in civil engineering (min) and Masters Degree in Structural Design (preferred) Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience in leading real estate in structural design, primarily focused on residential & commercial buildings, including high-rise developments. Expertise in structural analysis & design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD) Strong knowledge of Indian and international design codes (IS, NBC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes) Project management and team leadership abilities Analytical and problem-solving mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with green building norms and sustainable construction practices is a plus
