Roles and Responsibilities Preparation of detailed designs and drawings for the civil and structural components of the ground-mounted solar power plant Analyze and prepare intricate civil and structural drawings and designs of Module Mounting Structures, Inverters, ACSB, IDT, HT Panels, Power Transformers, and Transmission Lines. Develop designs and drawings of sub-power structures such as the Main Control Room, Inverter Room, Security Room, Watch Tower, and prefabricated buildings. Prepare the designs of the foundations of switchyard equipments, gantry tower, and transmission line tower. Design roads, drains, gates, boundary walls, fencing, and other civil structures essential for project construction.Perform geotechnical investigations, soil analysis, and site evaluations to determine the site’s suitability for the construction of solar power plants. Prepare technical specifications and calculations for civil and structural components and ensure compliance with IS codes and regulations. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, to address design-related queries and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Documentation of all the technical progress and changes throughout the course of project development Prepare and review technical documents comprising design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports, and ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project requirements. Create Bill of Materials for all the drawings of the civil and structural components of the project. Provide instructions to the draftsman for preparations of the GFC drawings. Review the vendors' civil and structural designs and drawings for the switchyard’s equipment’s. Extend support to the development team during the construction stage to enable a complete understanding of the drawings and designs. Coordinate with the procurement team for vendor evaluation to ensure the technical soundness of the work and fulfilment of all project needs. Provide maintenance solutions and create design modifications for the maintenance team as per the requirements.
