Role Summary WSP wishes to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Drainage Engineer to join the UK CRC Development team in Bengaluru/Noida and closely work with our UK offices to provide detailed infrastructure designs for both public and private sector clients in UK. The ability to plan and design deliverables against UK/International Engineering standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary Responsibilities Production of detailed draiange designs and construction drawings for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects. Mandatory Skills Good command of written and verbal English Working experience in road/highway drainage design for infrastructure projects including Surface and foul water , hydraulic modelling, hydrological analysis and the preparation of technical approval designs and drawings Ability to design and model drainage networks (2d/3d) including SuDS features Conversant with software like Micro Drainage / InfoDrainage / Sewer GEMS / Sewer CAD, Civil 3d etc UK/ international project experience preferred in particular in the application of standards similar to DMRB, Sewers for adoption, UK DCG etc and developing designs and drawings in compliant with Section S38/S278/S104 applications Problem solving and originality. Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind are essential requirements for the role. High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision. Ability to check work to ensure quality deliverables. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is expected.
