Job Title: Site Supervisor / Building Maintenance Job Summary: The Site Supervisor (Maintenance) will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and monitoring of all maintenance and facility management activities in the government building premises. The role involves ensuring timely upkeep of civil, electrical, and mechanical systems, coordinating with departmental engineers, and maintaining building assets in proper working condition as per government standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all day-to-day maintenance activities of the building, including civil, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and housekeeping works. Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and ensure rectification within stipulated timelines. Coordinate with departmental engineers, contractors, and service agencies for preventive and corrective maintenance. Maintain detailed records of maintenance works, service schedules, and contractor attendance. Ensure compliance with safety, fire-fighting, and electrical safety norms as per government regulations. Monitor performance of outsourced vendors and submit periodic performance reports. Ensure that public areas, offices, toilets, and service zones are clean, functional, and well-maintained at all times. Support small renovation or refurbishment projects under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Maintain stock registers for consumables, tools, and spares used for maintenance works. Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly maintenance reports to the concerned authority. Attend to emergencies such as power failures, leakages, or breakdowns promptly and coordinate quick restoration. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / ITI in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in building or facility maintenance, preferably in government or public sector establishments. Knowledge of government maintenance procedures, PWD specifications, and safety standards. Familiarity with AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) management and vendor supervision. Good communication and documentation skills for coordination with government officials and contractors.
