Collaborate effectively with the global IT team , providing support for global users as and when required. Ensure timely and professional communication with remote teams and stakeholders across different time zones. Assist in new site build-outs, network upgrades, and system rollouts. Travel to company offices in Hyderabad, Delhi, and Noida as per business requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki switches and FortiGate firewall administration. Prior experience in on-site IT/network support , preferably in a global IT environment . Strong understanding of LAN/WLAN setup, IP configurations, and firewall policies. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to coordinate with international teams. Must be open to work in off-hours or weekends as per operational needs. Willingness to travel within India as required.

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer with expertise in FortiGate firewalls to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong networking and security skills, with a focus on configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FortiGate firewall solutions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and optimized network infrastructure, providing support, and ensuring high levels of performance and reliability. Main Responsibilities: Possess in-depth knowledge of FortiGate firewalls and their functionalities. Configure, manage, and optimize FortiGate firewalls to ensure network security. Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking and security technologies, protocols, and methodologies. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, and routing protocols. Utilize network diagnostic, troubleshooting, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., FortiAnalyzer, network tools) to maintain network health. Troubleshoot and isolate network problems, providing solutions for complex issues. Expertise in network switching (VLANs, Trunks, Link Aggregation). Understanding of basic networking concepts, including LAN (Wired & Wireless), WAN, DMZ, Internet, VPN, and Firewalls. Suggest and implement improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability. Prepare and maintain Low-Level Design (LLD), steady-state configuration documents, statements of work, and other relevant technical documentation. Exhibit resourcefulness and a strong problem-solving aptitude. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. General Responsibilities: Regularly update and maintain configuration documents. Maintain assets and software licenses/subscriptions for network equipment. Coordinate with vendors and manage vendor support services. Ensure timely escalation and adherence to SLAs. Log and track incident/service/change requests in the helpdesk tool. Provide after-hours support for emergencies and perform occasional weekend maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field. 3-5 years of total experience in network security. CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification. Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) or similar certification.
