Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Security Operations team, specializing in Fortinet firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and support of Fortinet security infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet security appliances including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiAuthenticator. Lead firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and change management processes. Monitor and respond to security incidents, alerts, and anomalies in real-time. Perform regular health checks, firmware upgrades, and patch management. Collaborate with network, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure architecture and integration. Conduct root cause analysis for security incidents and provide detailed incident reports. Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall technologies. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, VPNs, NAT, and security best practices. Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems like ServiceNow. Fortinet NSE certifications (e.g., NSE4, NSE5, or higher) preferred. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) for automation.
