You will also be required to conduct rigorous checks of fabrication drawings, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or diploma in Civil Engineering, with a degree in Civil Engineering being highly advantageous. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural and structural drafting is essential. Proficiency in Revit software is preferred, along with a strong understanding of other industry-standard CAD software. You should have a comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles, structural integrity, and relevant building codes and standards. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, effective time management, and a commitment to continuous learning are also crucial for this position.
