You will be responsible for managing new product development from ideation to execution across beauty categories. Your role will involve strategically evaluating Beauty & Personal Care category sizes and markets, with a focus on NPD of Color cosmetic formulations. It is essential that you have a strong product understanding and working knowledge of the cosmetics/beauty industry to contribute to the continued evolution of the business. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and developing new cosmetic products, assessing product quality and stability protocols, and identifying emerging trends in the beauty industry. You will also be expected to explore new technology opportunities for product innovation and prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests. As a key member of the team, you will work on formulating cosmetic products, ensuring aesthetics, effectiveness, target cost, stability, and overall quality. Your ability to make important decisions, cope with demanding targets and deadlines, and maintain detailed documentation for regulatory needs will be crucial for success in this role. Required skills for this position include end-to-end development of cosmetic products, an eye for color and aesthetics, and experience in the personal care/cosmetic industry. Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to understand the costing of formulations are also essential. Your educational background should include a degree in B.Tech or M.Tech in cosmetics, B.Pharm or M.Pharm, B.Sc. or M.Sc. Your key skills should encompass research, formulation chemistry, personal care, hair care, skin care, and cosmetics development.
