Role & responsibilities Forge Shop Responsibilities: a) Supervise and manage daily operations of forging equipment (mechanical & hydraulic presses, hammers). b) Ensure correct die & tool setting, alignment, and timely changeovers. c) Optimize forging parameters to achieve productivity, quality, and tool life targets. d) Drive process improvements to reduce forging defects, improve yield, and maximize equipment uptime. e) Monitor & control KPIs including production yield, cycle time, rejection %, and OEE. Shear Shop Responsibilities: a) Oversee raw material cutting/shearing operations as per production requirements/job cards. b) Ensure cut length accuracy, material optimization, and traceability of batches. c) Plan and execute shearing schedules aligned with forging production plans. d) Ensure proper blade/tool life management and schedule preventive maintenance of machines.
