Job Title: ForgeRock Environment Support Consultant

Location: Bengaluru

The ForgeRock Environment Support Consultant will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting ForgeRock environments, ensuring their availability, performance, and stability. The role focuses on environment setup, administration, upgrades, patching, and issue resolution within development, test, and production landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support ForgeRock components

  OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM, and OpenIG

  across all environments.
• Perform

  environment setup, configuration, cloning, patching, and deployment

  activities.
• Monitor environment

  availability, performance, and capacity

  , taking proactive measures to prevent outages.

• Troubleshoot system issues

  and collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve root causes.
• Ensure

  environment readiness

  for releases, integrations, and upgrades.
• Maintain documentation for configuration, environment topology, and standard operating procedures.
• Implement and follow

  security, compliance, and backup procedures

  across all environments.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to manage deployments using

  Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for

  network, database, and server

  support (Linux/Unix/Windows).
• Provide

  on-call or weekend support

  as part of a rotation for environment stability.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  ForgeRock Suite

  : OpenAM, OpenDJ, OpenIDM, OpenIG.
• Good understanding of

  Java, Tomcat/JBoss

  , and web/application servers.
• Proficiency in

  Linux/Unix administration

  and

  scripting (Shell, Bash, Python)

  .
• Knowledge of

  networking fundamentals

  HTTP, SSL, Load Balancers, Proxies, and Firewalls.
• Familiarity with

  Cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to

  DevOps tools

  , Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with

  databases

  such as SQL, PostgreSQL, and directory services (LDAP/Active Directory).
