We’re looking for a video editor who doesn’t just cut clips — they build stories. Whether it's UGC for D2C brands, a slick ad film, or a moody founder reel, you should know how to turn raw footage into content that makes people stop scrolling. What You'll Work On: Editing branded content, reels, founder films, and UGC for social Collaborating closely with directors, strategists, and clients Bringing mood, pace, and polish to every cut Helping shape the visual tone of Ubuntu Studios as we grow What You Bring: 2+ years of editing experience (freelance or agency — we don’t care as long as you’re good) A solid showreel (don’t apply without this, please) Command over Premiere Pro (After Effects, DaVinci = bonus) Good taste. That’s more important than good tools. An instinct for pacing, storytelling, and social media trends Manage and organize media assets and project files efficiently. Optimize workflows for speed and efficiency in content delivery. Stay updated with industry trends and video editing techniques. Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics integration. Knowledge of industry-standard video codecs, formats, and export settings. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
