As a Contract General Affairs (Travel Desk) professional at Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS), you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end travel plans for pan India offices efficiently and cost-effectively. With 5 to 8 years of experience in travel desk operations, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of travel management, ranging from processing travel insurance, visa, and forex requirements to negotiating with vendors for the best fares and tariffs. Your primary responsibilities will include managing travel requests, providing detailed travel itineraries, and ensuring timely responses and confirmations to stakeholders. You will coordinate with internal teams and travel agencies for necessary actions, handle travel-related queries efficiently, and stay updated with travel industry trends and regulations. Additionally, you will assist with visa applications, liaise with external agencies and consulates, and monitor travel budget and expense reports. To excel in this role, you must possess good and effective communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. You should be smart working, dedicated, and passionate about constant improvement and innovation. Being patient in facing challenges, having problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing travel plans are essential qualities for this position. The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 to 8 years of experience in Travel Desk Management and hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality or Travel Management with IATA certification.
