Job Description

As a Forescout NAC L2 Engineer, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Expert level Administration experience and knowledge in Forescout NAC - Monitoring client infrastructure and solutions - Identifying problems and errors prior to or when they occur - Routinely identifying common incidents and opportunities for avoidance as well as general opportunities for incident reduction - Investigating first line incidents assigned and identifying the root cause of incidents and problems - Providing telephonic or chat support to clients when required - Scheduling maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes - Following the required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity - Reporting and escalating incidents where necessary - Ensuring the efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests - Updating existing knowledge articles or creating new ones - Identifying opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of work, request fulfilment, incident resolution, and other general process improvement opportunities - Contributing to / supporting on project work as and when required - Working on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests Qualifications required for this role include: - MCA OR BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/CS/IT - At least one Security certification, PMP/ITIL Expert/CISA/CISM/CISSP OR Tool-Based Certification, should be completed within 30 days of onboarding Please note that BCA / BSC / MSC / Other Streams such as Mechanical are not considered for this position.,
