You are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auth0 Developer / IAM Developer to join the engineering team at our company. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in implementing and managing identity and access management solutions with Auth0. Your role will involve ensuring secure and scalable authentication and authorization for our applications and APIs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust identity services that enhance user experience while adhering to the highest security standards. As an Auth0 Developer / IAM Developer, your key responsibilities will include Auth0 Implementation & Configuration, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Integration & Development, Security & Best Practices, Troubleshooting & Support, Collaboration & Mentorship. You will be required to design, implement, and configure Auth0 tenants, applications, APIs, and connections. Additionally, you will set up and manage various authentication methods, enterprise identity providers, and passwordless authentication. You will also be responsible for implementing Role-Based Access Control, attribute-based access control, and Single Sign-On strategies, among other tasks. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 5-8 years of experience in software development, focusing on Identity and Access Management. Expert-level experience with Auth0 is essential, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java. You should have a solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, API security best practices, and experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also required. Preferred skills for this position include experience with other IAM providers, Terraform for infrastructure as code, knowledge of front-end frameworks, experience with microservices architecture, and familiarity with logging and monitoring tools.
