Senior Product Manager - Tech / Product Lead(Ford, Chennai) Location: Chennai, India (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 8+ years in Product Management / Tech Leadership About the Opportunity Ford’s Global Dealer Platform team is seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Lead to drive a complex, high-visibility initiative integrating with Salesforce and launching across multiple global markets. You’ll partner closely with business, engineering, and design teams to shape a dealer-facing digital product that enhances user experience and delivers measurable impact across Ford’s commercial ecosystem. What You’ll Do Lead Product Delivery: Manage a team of ~8 engineers; translate business needs into actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized backlog. Shape Product Strategy: Partner with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and release plans balancing business viability, user desirability, and technical feasibility. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, architects, and business partners to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical trade-offs. Drive Execution: Ensure timely delivery of features by aligning development, design, and QA teams; support iterative releases and MVP thinking. Communicate Effectively: Serve as the bridge between business and engineering—translating strategic goals into technical deliverables. Mentor & Elevate: Coach PMs and engineers on Agile/XP practices, human-centered design, and lean product development. Continuously Improve: Introduce process innovations, run experiments, and use customer insights to iterate the product. What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT, Engineering, or Business. Experience: 5+ years managing digital product lifecycles in software or platform-based businesses. 5+ years defining product vision, roadmaps, and backlogs in Agile (Scrum/XP/Kanban) environments. Proven experience launching and supporting production applications across multi-market landscapes. Strong ability to balance user needs, business priorities, and technical trade-offs. Skills: Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and decision-making. Hands-on collaboration with engineering and UX teams. Expertise in backlog management, MVP definition, and agile delivery. Exposure to Salesforce or CRM-integrated platforms is highly desirable.
