About the Role We're building a next-generation football intelligence platform that blends data, storytelling, and community features. You will help accelerate the MVP, deliver new user-facing functionality, and set solid engineering foundations. What You'll Do Design and build responsive, mobile-first web interfaces (Strong preference for Svelte; flexible, but MERN is our baseline). Implement secure Node.js/Express APIs for authentication, user dashboards, and third-party data integration. Optimize MongoDB data models for performance and scalability. Deploy and maintain services on Heroku (or comparable cloud) using CI/CD and GitHub workflows. Collaborate with product and editorial teammates to translate requirements into fast, reliable features. Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews. Requirements 1–3 years professional full-stack experience (internships count). Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js/Express, and MongoDB. Comfortable consuming and integrating external REST/JSON APIs. Familiar with Git, PR workflows, and basic cloud deployment (Heroku, Supabase, Vercel, etc.). Bonus: experience with Svelte/SvelteKit, data-driven sports projects, or front-end testing frameworks. Engagement Details Contract length: 3–6 months, with a clear path to permanent hire if mutually satisfied. Commitment: ~40 hrs/week Compensation: ₹40,000 per month (approx. ₹4.8 L per year).
