"Sports for Change" initiative of HCL Foundation

Sports for Change is HCL Foundations flagship initiative that leverages sports as a tool for social inclusion and empowerment. The program identifies, trains, and nurtures young talent from disadvantaged communities, providing access to quality coaching, sports gear, and opportunities to compete at district, state, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement structured training programs for individuals and teams.
• Teach fundamental and advanced football techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure safety and injury prevention during training and matches.
• Organize and manage team participation in tournaments and competitions.
• Promote discipline, teamwork, and a positive sporting culture.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper use.

Preferred candidate profile:

1 Year NIS Certificate is mandatory

• Certification in Football Coaching from recognized bodies
• Minimum 28years of experience coaching youth teams or grassroots programs.
• Strong understanding of football techniques, strategies, and fitness training.
• Ability to work with children and youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Passion for sports as a tool for social change and community development.
